  15. <p>     DIED. CAMERON MITCHELL, 75, actor; in Los Angeles. The rangy,
  16. rugged Mitchell found his career-making role in the late '40s,
  17. when he played Happy Loman, the determined if delusional son
  18. in the Broadway debut of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman.
  19. Mitchell re-created the role in the 1951 film version. He made
  20. perhaps his biggest splash as diamond-in-the-rough Buck Cannon
  21. on TV's The High Chaparral (1967-71).
